Every year, I would make her something different for her birthday. Knowing that she has a sister who loves doing scrapbooking and crafts automatically elevates her expectancy of receiving a handmade one. Added pressure? Oh yes! This year, she celebrated her birthday for the first time in the United Kingdom and thus. So, for this birthday, it was a simple 2-colored book with 8 accordian pages folded in half, filled with birthday messages from her friends from home and it got posted to her. Something to say, we were thinking about you! Started by creasing  approx 1" of a long landscape cardstock 10 times, alternating the direction of each crease. Attach the front and back covers with double sided tape.Attach the accordian folded pages onto the 'spine'. I used 165gm artblock papers for the pages Hsulynn created and painted her birthday message and it became the first page of the book!Attach a piece of cardstock to attach this piece onto the spine of the bookI love using the accordian method to attach pages. No hassle in comb-binding / perfect binding your book! Opt for this :)I finished it by die-cutting the numbers of her birthday and mounted it onto the front flap of the book
